It is hard to believe that something as little as an ordinary egg can have such amazing health benefits, but they really do.

  1. Eggs are a complete protein (meaning they contain all the essential amino acids), making them very beneficial for muscle growth and repair. Also being low in calories, they are great for weight management.

  2. Eggs are great for eye health as they are rich in lutein and zeaxanthin; protecting against macular degeneration and cataracts.

  3. Amazingly, eggs are very beneficial for brain and nerve function, offering protection against dementia and Alzheimer’s.

  4. With respect to heart health, studies are mixed; As eggs contain cholesterol some studies found negative effects on heart, however recent studies found no connection, showing even positive effects due to high omega 3 fatty acids present in eggs.

  5. Eggs are rich in B vitamins so they provide great benefits for skin, hair and nails.

However, theres a big caveat here! Eggs can be pro inflammatory for some individuals, especially for some auto immune conditions and heart health.
This means caution is required.

You are in control of your health. If you are worried, stop eating them for few weeks and then start slowly, like one egg every 5-6 days, see how you feel.
